About EDUkraine
Newly-born Belgian association EDUkraine was created in 2008 by European friends of Ukraine to support education and civil society in Ukraine

The event held in Brussels on 20 May 2008 at the Cultural Centre of Uccle consisted in a conference followed by a cocktail and photo exhibition on the history and work of the Ukrainian Catholic University (Lviv) that is EDUkraine's main partner & which was the event's guest of honor. Didier Rance
President of EDUkraine and former director of l’Aide a
l’Eglise en detresse (France), he is the author of the first book
published in French on the Catholics of Ukraine (1992). A
byzantologist and frequent contributor to various French
media, Mr. Rance has served as bi-ritual deacon for 20 years.
Marie-Aude Tardivo, Ph.D.
Executive director of EDUkraine, she worked for two years
in Ukraine as project manager at UCU’s Institute of
Ecumenical Studies. In the course of her Ph.D. in the U.K,
she interviewed some 20th century Ukrainian & Russian
dissidents.
