EDUkraine was founded by Ukraine's European friends in order to support youth in Ukraine through educational programs and to support the development of civil society through exchange and collaboration between Ukraine and Europe.

The Orange Revolution of December 2004 was the first significant non-violent movement of the third millennium. Today, Ukraine is building a future of social and democratic development in cooperation with its European neighbors.

Education is one of the most important issues facing this country of fifty million people, still in its first twenty years after independence.

The event held in Brussels on 20 May 2008 at the Cultural Centre of Uccle consisted in a conference followed by a cocktail and photo exhibition on the history and work of the Ukrainian Catholic University (Lviv) that is EDUkraine's main partner & which was the event's guest of honor. More
