Icon painting summer school

A three-week (July 5-25) intensive program combining:

• practical workshops in icon painting
• 2 theoretical courses/seminars in the theology of icons and sacred art history
• an intensive program of excursions and trips to local museums and monuments of Christian art
• daily participation in Byzantine rite worship and experience of the authentic Eastern Christian liturgical life

Summer Study Program of Ukrainian Sacred Monuments ("Twilight of the Empire")

A ten-day (July 16-25) program, combining tours of Ukrainian sacred sites and monuments of Christian art and architecture with intellectual study of the basics of the theology, history and most important features of Ukrainian Christian art from the times of Kyivan Rus to today.
